Here at The Urban Pet Store, we believe in feeding our pets biologically appropriate food, carefully curated to meet their individual needs.
Our knowledgeable, friendly team are always on hand to offer you help and advice when it comes to raw feeding. We realise it can be a minefield at first (especially when you start researching online!) so we're here to make it easy for you. We can offer you simple, down-to-earth explanations with all of the key points you need to know. We can also provide you with a tailored feeding plan to take home with you; simply speak to us in store!

The Dogs Butcher
Our best seller, and a brand we are proud to stock! The Dogs Butcher are a family owned business who first opened their doors back in 2010.
All of their ingredients are sourced from, hand picked and delivered straight to us from Devon. Renowned for their 'chunky' minces; local and ethically produced ingredients and their commendable ethics.
Each carefully curated recipe is supplied in a 1kg pack and we have over 40 varieties to choose from! They do not contain vegetables.
Dougie's
A family owned manufacturer who are local to us, Dougie's have over 20 years’ experience in supplying high quality ingredients and a wealth of knowledge to the pet food industry.
All of their ingredients are locally and ethically sourced, with all of their recipes supplied in 560g packs - divided into 4 x 140g blocks.
This brand is perfect for small to medium breed dogs, with their handy cubes making it easy to portion control! We stock all of their 80-10-10 varieties which do not contain vegetables.
Nutriment Raw
Established in 2013, Nutriment has revolutionised the world of raw feeding. Their recipes contain premium British ingredients and deliver essential, high-quality nutrition to your canine and feline friends. Carefully curated with a variety of raw meats and fish, biologically appropriate vegetables, and nutrient-dense superfoods.
In store you will find a selection of 500g tubs and 1.4kg chubbs.
How can I purchase raw food from you?
If you'd like to purchase raw food from us, simply visit us in store and pick out what you need from the freezers. We don't ask you to order in advance - you are welcome to buy as much or as little as you'd like!
Do you deliver raw food?
We do not offer courier deliveries for our frozen products. Being a small, independent store, we are commited to providing a selection of raw dog food to our local and surrounding villages. We only offer delivery to Garforth where we are located, which you can read more about here.
How do I start raw feeding?
We pride ourselves on being knowledgable and down-to-earth, and we are always happy to show you how to get started on your raw feeding journey. We know how frustrating it can be trying to research raw feeding online, with various websites telling you to do different things and often overcomplicating it!
